you get what you pay for, a darker hair always appears healthier than a lighter head of hair. You get waht you pay for so when you buy cheap shampoo it tends to dry your hair out where as if you buy ';beauty brand'; shampoo and conditioner you see a big difference. I use biolage shampoo and conditioner and glass made by redken. you put this on right after you get out of the shower (just a dime size in your hand) and rub through out hair. This leaves your hair silky smooth! i love it and would never change to anything else!

also a good tip is vo5 hot oil treatments. I absolutley swear by them! there amazing
