Hand Treatment:

Soften your hands even while you do the dishes.

Add a little almond oil (about a teaspoon) to dishwater. The water will soften rought skin while the oil seals the moisture.

* Slough off dead skin cells with a solution made of sea salt lemon. Brush it into hands with an old toothbrush. Do this twice a week to soften hands and remove discoloration.

* Wash hands thoroughly with warm water, then, using a coarse washcloth, rub briskly. While skin is slightly damp, apply a mixture of one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon olive oil. Place hands in small plastic bags, then in a pair of cotton gloves for thirty minutes. The heat helps the treatment penetrate.

* Warm a cup of milk in the microwave for thirty seconds (or until warm, but comfortable to the touch). Soak your hands for five minutes to strengthen nails and hydrate skin. Not only is milk loaded with lactic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates dead skin, but its high calcium content will strengthen fragile nails.

Healthy Nails:

Drink lots of water. Keep your body hydrated everyday to maintain healthy nails.

Fortify your diet with FDA approved vitamins or supplements. Your fingernails count on you to be responsible with your health and your diet. Unless instructed otherwise by your physician, increase your daily doses of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, calcium, folic acid, protein, Vitamin B12, and zinc.

Touch up your manicure on a daily basis to prevent chips and cracks.

Your nails depend on you to maintain a healthy diet. Take in lots.

Hair Recipies:

eggs

Lightly beat two eggs mixed with some milk and run throughout your hair. Leave on for 5 minutes, rinse and you'll see a shine instantly. The same can be done for your dog once a month, except just put an egg over their food.

Aspirin for Dandruff

No problem, dissolve 2 aspirins in your dandruff shampoo and watch how it clears up. Use a good moisturizing conditioner afterward.

Hair Cocktail

Splash a little vodka in your shampoo if you have thick or product-build-up hair. Don't use on a regular basis.

Hair Static

This isn't meant to be funny. Use static guard. Use about 7 inches from your hair lightly. Don't over do it.

Greasy Hair

Powder. Most come in hundreds of fragrances, brands, and unscented selections. Put a little at the root of your hair before straying. If it is a serious problem, put the power on heavily for 15 minutes wash completely, condition lightly, and style.

Frizz-Off

Quick fix for curly hair frizz, always the lucky ones. Use a little, did I mention LITTLE bit about the size of a dime and rub in into your hands before applying it to your frizzy ends. Instant results without buying a product at the Salon.

Lemon-Boost

Lemon juice mixed with natural sunlight will lighten any hair. Just make sure you don't go a sour red head.

Sweet Shine

Honey in your tea, snack or applied as a small amount in the hair will give you shine

Beauty Myths:

Beauty Myth #1: Plucking white hairs yields more white hairs.

This is definitely just a beauty myth. Our hair whitens as part of the natural process of aging, and some of us see our hair start turning white earlier than usual compared to others. It only seems to us that we are having more and more gray hair after we see our first strand of white because our mind is now trained to look for the grays in our mane, and so we are now more likely to notice.

Beauty Myth #2: Shaving the hair makes it grow back thicker.

This is definitely another beauty myth as well. Shaved hair seems to grow back thicker only because when we shave, the razor cuts the hair off only on the skin's surface. They were not plucked off directly from the follicle. Therefore, when the hair grows back, the wide part of the strand grows out, making the hair appear thicker.

Beauty Myth #3: Mayonnaise makes for a great conditioner.

No, this one is not a myth. Mayonnaise, as long as it is real, does make for a great hair conditioner. The oil and eggs that can be found in real mayonnaise is rich in fatty acids and protein that nourishes the hair.

Beauty Myth #4: Applying ice to the skin makes the pores smaller.

Nothing can make the pores smaller. The size of our pores is the result of genetics, not of temperature applied on the skin, so some people just have smaller pores than others.

Beauty Myth #5: Toothpaste can cure pimples

Well, yes. Toothpaste has menthol and other active ingredients that can dry up a pimple and make it heal much quickly than if left alone. However, the same active ingredients in toothpaste that can heal a pimple can also dry up and irritate the skin of your face, so it is better to use a pimple cream rather than toothpaste for your pimple.

Beauty Myth #6: Applying beer on the skin before going for a sun tan results in a golden glow.

No, not true. In fact, you should avoid sun tanning altogether, unBeauty tips? 10 pts for the most?
Treatment for Dry Cracked Feet

The first step for at-home treatment is to wash or soak your feet everyday in lukewarm water and a mild soap. You can add a soothing foot product to help condition your feet if you choose. Dr. Scholl鈥檚 and Burt鈥檚 Bees offer great medicated moisturizing products. However, if you鈥檇 rather use items from the kitchen, mixing one cup of honey with a gallon of water and soaking ten to fifteen minutes can drastically improve the moisture in the skin. Honey is also a natural antiseptic and is a safe cure for cracked or bleeding skin. Be careful not to use the pumice stone too vigorously on your cracked feet as it may make them worse.

Second, you鈥檒l need to dry your feet well. Pay close attention to the skin in between the toes. If this area is not dried properly it can create a breeding ground for bacteria and lead to infection. Pat the feet and do not rub harshly or you can cause more damage!

Next, apply a foot cream, lotion or foot ointment. There are many lotions available offering moisturizers such as Vitamin E, shea butter, aloe and more. These are often helpful for dry, but not severely dry skin. Podiatrists and diabetic specialists often recommend a foot cream such as O鈥橩eeffe鈥檚 working feet cream. This cream is not greasy, hypoallergenic, has no odor and contains no oil or alcohol. It helps replenish the skin with glycerin and protect the skin with paraffin. These ingredients help to sooth, hydrate and repair the skin tissue of the feet.

Face Masks Help To Treat Oily Skin

Treatment for oily skin types can also be found in face masks. A weekly face mask can help to revive oily skin. Use one that is clay or mud-based as these materials help to draw out and absorb the oil in your skin. Masks containing natural ingredients --- such as oatmeal, lemon or cucumber --- are also great for oily skin types and can help to dry to skin just a little. The key to controlling oily skin is to dry it out just enough, without overdoing it and pushing your skin into the dry skin category. As the skin care industry continues to grow, so do opportunities for

niche products. Oily skin is a common problem between both men and women, so many companies that specialize in treatment for oily skin offer a cache of products that cater to this skin type.

Natural Treatment Is Best for Acne

While natural acne treatment is the preferable way to rid your skin of blemishes, most people use products found in their local pharmacy. Many over-the-counter remedies contain chemicals that kill acne bacteria quicker.

There are two general ingredients found in many acne treatment products. Benzyl peroxide kills the bacteria that causes acne; however, it often irritates sensitive skin and cause overall dryness. Salicylic acid removes the dirt and oil that clogs pores and destroys acne-causing bacteria. It is easier on the skin and does aid in collagen production. These two ingredients are found in most over-the-counter acne medications and are the most common forms of treatment

But seriously, I love Noxema for my skin cleanser, drinking masses of water is the best and greatest and honestly, the only like #1 moisturizer in the entireworld and the planets. Plenty of rest and exercise is a must for perfect skin.

Parrafin waxing is good for hands/feet to make them softer and smoother, more sleek and very sexy appeal. It makes your hands look younger and more teasing appearance to onlookers. They will notice right off that you take pride in your appearance and you are a modern woman of the times to care about how you look in private and especially in public.

For acne, I use mud mask, Ambi, skin toning soaps to remove the dark blotchy, scarred looking spots from my face such as Skin Success by Palmer and Black and White skin ointment!!
